Someone asked me once if I was going to be an artist someday?
Art has always been something of an outlet for me. Turning to drawing and painting has given me a sense of self expression and meditation. Such a personal journey art seems to take in the final stages of a painting. A true reflection in the process results in an emotional image for everyone. This is what drives me to create.

I grew up drawing.
Drawing everything around me.
Born in Chesterton, Indiana right around the corner of Lake Michigan to Chicago. A quiet town not far away from the hustle and bustle of busy city streets and just steps away from the vast nature of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. The beauty of the outdoors has since become a central focus in my work. From the sprawling wildflowers and marram grass to the crashing waves of Lake Michigan, my place of inspiration and imagination has been kept close to my heart.
Now I reside in Rochester, Indiana which is a far cry from the banks of the lake. Here I see corn fields swimming under the pressures of the hot sun. Where farm fields stretch acres upon miles and the loud roar of the tractor magnifies against the silence of the land. Antique farms are abundant. These old roots hold time in a capsule.
Someone asked me once if I was going to be an artist someday? I loosely answered yes, beacause this was not a question but a matter of fact. I was already an artist as we all are born with something. An ability to see and connect with life in a manner that is more than on the surface but the foundation behind our emotional being. This is where my art grows.
